BACKSTORY: From the beginning, she lived in a strict family since her father is the General. She watched her two older sisters grow up and excel at being shadens and felt pressure to do the same. When she could not do as they did, her father would unknowingly lower her self-esteem, though he was just trying to push her to work harder (The birth of her inferiority complex). When she became a senior shaden at age 17, she was put into a team with Leith Tessler, who she has been friends with since she was 10 yrs old, and another girl (unknown). A romance bloomed between Leith and the other team member. The other girl broke Leith’s heart and Adena sympathized with him. They mistook their fond feelings for each other as love and dated for a very short time before realizing it was a mistake and went back to being close friends. (Also, around this time, Adena’s older brothyer suddenly disappeared into Raakshal Forest and never returned. Many looked for him, but he was never found and the family concluded that he ran away. Adena wondered for a long time why her older brother ran away. Eventually, she began to harbor resentment at him.) From ages 18-21, Adena had two more relationships, but both failed.

David Tennant’s departure nearly ended Doctor Who, reveals Steven Moffat

I was in tears when David Tennant regenerated so I can believe this. Lol.

Finally, here I am! And here’s my very first character bio :3

There you go, that’s the very first main character that appears in my novel, Ludivine. Ignore the pencil markings around it, it was actually a page full of notes and other drawings of her, but this is the only important one. 😛

Anyway, let’s go into it.

BACKSTORY: Her life was kinda boring. She’s very shy by nature. Parents raised her and she also lived with grandparents and two older brothers. At age 5, she watched Valerian soldiers murder her grandfather and became both very scared and angry at the Empire. After learning a lot about Ianen and the Empire, she heard about the old man in Lamden that secretly still teaches magic. She begged her parents and they were against it, but gave in. She learned it quickly, but constantly wondered why she even bothered. Empire soldiers weren’t sent to Lamden often and the biggest adventures she got was when one of her brothers would take her into Raakshal Forest to hunt, etc. She got crushes on boys quite a bit, one in particular she loved for a long time, but was too bashful to even approach him till she was 18. She was rejected by the boy. Heartbroken, she threw herself into her passion for all things magical and daydreamed of life outside the forest surrounding her.

 

So that’s that. I have all the other character bio’s written out too, but I’ll finish inking at least the main sketches of them before I post them here. I don’t know what I’m even expecting to hear from anyone else, but any feedback is welcome (hopefully, will be done respectfully 😛 )

Well then

It’s been awhile! As I said before, I’m really not too great at blogging…

Back to the whole character illustrations etc…well, I actually have it done! They’re just rough sketches, but I’ll post them here hopefully soon, along with their bio. I’ve actually done quite a bit of writing since I last blogged and have nearly 200 pages in my second book. Writing 5 chapters in the span of 3 days feels awesome. :3 Though at the moment, I’m in a small writing rut because of a mere two or three pages, I think it’ll pass soon…(also, I’ve been distracted with some TV shows…House MD and Shingeki No Kyojin/Attack On Titan, anyone?! 😀 )
